Personal data
Controller
The controller of your personal data within the meaning of data protection law is Mielewczyk Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Podgórna 3, 83-332 Dzierżążno.
Purposes, legal bases and retention periods for personal data
The purposes, legal bases and retention periods for personal data are indicated separately for each processing purpose (see the description of individual personal data processing purposes below).
Your rights
The GDPR grants you the following potential rights related to the processing of your personal data:
- prawo dostępu do danych osobowych,
- prawo do sprostowania danych osobowych,
- prawo do usunięcia danych osobowych,
- prawo do ograniczenia przetwarzania danych osobowych,
- prawo do wniesienia sprzeciwu co do przetwarzania danych osobowych,
- prawo do przenoszenia danych,
- prawo do wniesienia skargi do organu nadzorczego,
- prawo do odwołania zgody na przetwarzanie danych osobowych, jeżeli takową zgodę wyraziłeś.
The rules for exercising the rights indicated above are described in detail in Articles 16–21 GDPR. We encourage you to read those provisions. For our part, we consider it necessary to explain that the rights listed above are not absolute and will not apply to every personal data processing activity concerning you. For your convenience, we have made every effort, in the description of individual processing operations, to indicate the rights you have in relation to those operations.
We emphasise that one of the rights listed above always applies — if you believe that in processing your personal data we have breached data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
You may also always ask us to provide information about what data we hold about you and for what purposes we process it. Simply send a message to iodo@mielewczyk.pl. We have, however, made every effort to present the information you may need comprehensively in this privacy policy. You may also use the email address above for any questions related to the processing of your personal data.
Security
We guarantee the confidentiality of all personal data you provide to us. We take all security and personal data protection measures required by data protection law. Personal data is collected with due care and properly protected against access by unauthorised persons.
Email contact
When you contact us by email, including by submitting an enquiry via the contact form, you naturally provide us with your email address as the sender address. You may also include other personal data in the message. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to establish contact.
In this case, your data is processed in order to contact you, and the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent arising from initiating contact with us. The legal basis for processing after contact ends is the legitimate purpose of archiving correspondence for internal needs (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
The content of correspondence may be archived, and we cannot clearly determine when it will be deleted. You have the right to request the history of correspondence you have had with us (if it was archived), as well as to request its deletion, unless archiving is justified by our overriding interests, e.g. defence against potential claims from you.
Cookies and other tracking technologies
Our website, like almost all other websites, uses cookies.
Cookies are small pieces of text information stored on your end device (e.g. computer, tablet or smartphone) that may be read by our IT system (first-party cookies) or by a third-party IT system (third-party cookies).
Some cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. when you close it (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and allow us to recognise your browser when you return to the site (persistent cookies).
You will find more details below.
Cookie consent
On your first visit to the site, you are shown information about the use of cookies. With a dedicated tool, you can manage cookies from the website. You can also always change cookie settings in your browser or delete cookies entirely. Browsers manage cookie settings in different ways. In your browser’s help menu you will find explanations on how to change cookie settings.
Please remember that disabling or limiting cookies may make it harder to use our websites, as well as many other websites that use cookies.
First-party cookies
We use first-party cookies to ensure the website works correctly, in particular the ordering process and logging into a user account.
Third-party cookies
Our website, like most modern websites, uses features provided by third parties, which involves the use of third-party cookies. The use of such cookies is described below.
Google Analytics
We use the Google Analytics tool provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in creating statistics and analysing them in order to optimise our websites.
Google Analytics automatically collects information about your use of our website. Information collected in this way is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there.
Because we have enabled IP address anonymisation, your IP address is shortened before being forwarded. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. As a rule, the anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser under Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
Because Google LLC is based in the USA and uses technical infrastructure located in the USA, it joined the EU–US Privacy Shield programme to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection required by European law. Under the agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the Commission found an adequate level of data protection for companies holding Privacy Shield certification.
You can prevent Google from recording cookie-collected data about your use of our website, and from processing that data, by installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Within Google Analytics we also collect demographic data and interest data. In the cookie settings directly on our website you can decide whether you consent to such data being collected about you.
If you are interested in details of data processing within Google Analytics, we encourage you to read the explanations prepared by Google: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
When you view our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the social media service providers. The plugin content is transmitted by the provider directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, providers receive information that your browser displayed our page, even if you do not have a profile with that provider or are not currently logged in. That information (together with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the provider’s server (some servers are in the USA) and stored there.
Server logs
Using the website involves sending requests to the server that hosts the site. Every request to the server is recorded in the server logs. Logs include, among other things, your IP address, the server date and time, and information about the browser and operating system you use. Logs are saved and stored on the server. Data in the server logs is not associated with specific individuals using the site and is not used by us to identify you. Server logs are solely auxiliary material for administering the site, and their contents are not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorised to administer the server.
